Although I haven't lived there for some time now, my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky will always be one of my favorite places in the world. For a small city that goes largely unnoticed, there are some pretty great things happening there all the time.
One of the things I love most about Louisville is the vibrant culture and strong support for local businesses. So, I'm very pleased to have recently discovered the
Original Makers Club of Louisville: a website (and book) dedicated to highlighting the city's local treasures.
I'm so happy to see some of my favorite places on the website, and am also pleasantly surprised to see some things that are new to me. I'll be back home for a wedding and to visit family next week, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll have some time to go out and rediscover my little city with the help of this website.
